What They Say About Us
A customer contacted us regarding a project they had taken and asked if we had ever drilled with an air hammer before. We had concerns with the vibrations and shock damaging our directional instrument. We asked our contacts in the industry to see if they had any experience air hammering pilot holes, without much success.
We got in touch with Dale Pratt as he had a shock absorption attachment that we could mount inline with the instrument. We had some experiences with shock sub assemblies but worried that it would interfere with the effectiveness of the hammer.
The shock tool was easy to install and we began the job hopeful that all would go according to plan. We had no shock or vibration damage even though the action of the hammer was much more violent then we had expected. Due to air being used rather than drilling fluid there was also no damage or wear to the shock assembly, making it a perfect application.”
We are very impressed and thankful to the helpful team at EETP for their expertise and shock assembly design.
